最近几年,在线旅行社(OTA)的形势一直都不怎么好,但由于自身的战略举措,OTA在航空公司那边抵消了在网络市场份额方面的损失。OTA一直都在积极追求高利润率的酒店段,这些努力得到了回报。
根据旅游行业研究权威机构PhoCusWright即将发布的报告,OTA酒店预订量预计在2014年增长15%,连续三年超过酒店网站的收益。OTA的在线酒店市场份额将提高到48%,这个数字在2012年是46%。
“在线旅行社利用了交易大户、中端市场酒店客人的回归,扭转了对供应商有利的近期转变,把收入损失转化为航空公司直接预订,”PhoCusWright的研究分析师Maggie Rauch说。 “一个强大的酒店市场,搭配提升的航空销售和捕捉移动旅游预订的早期优势,推动了中介机构的行业发展前景。”
在酒店业中, OTA收入所占份额将越来越大。美国国内OTA预订总额将由2012年的44%增长到2016年的51%。通过手机渠道的OTA酒店预订将促进这些成果的出现。手机渠道是整体移动订单增长的主要驱动力。在2014年,手机将占据近四分之一的OTA酒店预订,占据11%的酒店网站预订。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
