作为公司结构调整的一部分，Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts (悦榕酒店及度假村集团)预计将会在未来几个月进行裁员，以应对未来“将会长期持续”的全球经济不景气。集团目前员工数量超过 1400人，裁员规模约 12%。
据美国网站 cpp luxury 报道，作为重组的一部分，集团的三位高管：销售与营销副总裁 David Spooner，亚太地区运营副总裁 Andrew Langston 和 CEO Abid Butt 已经辞职。
Banyan Tree Holdings(悦榕控股有限公司) 执行主席何光平说道：“这次的调整并不只是为了减少成本，还是为了精简公司结构，提高效率。”他表示，本次变动预计将会节省数百万美元的成本。
悦榕酒店及度假村集团旗下管理有超过 30 家度假村及酒店、70 家 Spa、90 家零售商店及三个锦标赛高尔夫球场，物业遍布 28 个国家。旗下的精品度假酒店品牌，除了闻名遐迩的 Banyan Tree(悦榕庄)外，还有 Angsana(悦椿), Cassia(悦梿)和 Dhawa 。
其中在中国的十一个城市设有悦榕庄度假酒店，包括：重庆北碚，杭州，九寨沟，黄山，丽江，澳门，仁安，上海，三亚，阳朔，天津。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
