随着大批投资者涌入经济型酒店领域，亚洲各大经济型酒店批发商也在不断发展壮大。
印度的Vista Rooms成立还不到一年，但该公司已在80多个城市签约了800多家酒店，而且该公司自称是二三线城市的市场领导者。
目前，Vista Rooms已进入斯里兰卡，并签约了200家当地酒店。
Vista Rooms与精品酒店、宾馆、酒店式公寓、私人别墅和民宿合作。此外，该公司也采取B2B模式，为合作伙伴提供处理分销和管理酒店的技术。
尽管Vista Rooms重点关注的是访问邻国的印度旅行者，但联合创始人Ankita Sheth表示希望能从整体上改善斯里兰卡的旅游业。
“我们签约的酒店都是经过精心挑选的，我们希望改变大众对经济型酒店的偏见。我们希望到斯里兰卡旅游的全球各地的游客住在经济型酒店时，不用再担心客房的浴室是否干净，或者房间里有没有电。
印尼的Nida Rooms也在曼谷设立了办事处，该公司希望到今年年底签约3000家当地酒店，这将极大增加该公司在泰国的签约酒店数量(该公司此前签约了1400家当地酒店)。
这个数字的确很惊人，因为Nida Rooms成立的时间还没有Vista Rooms长。不过，Nida Rooms自称是“亚洲增长速度最快的虚拟酒店运营商。”该公司官网主页上的简介称“Nida Rooms是亚洲最大的连锁酒店”。
放眼整个亚洲，你会发现这是一个高度分散的市场，但消费者对数字化服务的需求又很高。当然，大型的行业参与者早晚会发现亚洲经济型酒店领域的巨大商机，这只不过是时间问题。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
