土耳其原本在全球最受欢迎的旅游目的地中排名第六，紧随意大利之后，其旅游业严重受到恐怖袭击的威胁。
该国去年一共迎来4千万游客，但在今年6月一起发生在伊斯坦布尔机场的重大恐怖袭击，和上周五的军方政变之后，有上百万游客在重新考虑出行计划。
“土耳其最近的这场政变对其旅游业的影响是灾难性的。”欧睿国际的一位高级旅游分析师Nadejda Popova说。
根据旅游信息公司ForwardKeys的数据，从年初开始，预订前往土耳其旅游行程的人数每周都在减少，而在机场袭击之后的一周，人数大跳水近7成。
在机场袭击和政变之前，土耳其伊斯坦布尔和安卡拉，还发生过几起炸弹恐怖袭击。世界旅游业理事会的CEO，David Scowsill表示，土耳其的这一系列事件使得很多欧洲游客——主要是德国和英国游客——选择改去别的地方。
德国和英国位列土耳其旅游业的前三大入境客源国，每年大概给土耳其送去800万名游客。
俄罗斯是土耳其的第二大客源国，但自从去年11月土耳其方面击落了俄罗斯的一架战机，俄罗斯已经有8个月禁止其民众前往土耳其了。这项禁令刚刚被取消。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
