2022年7月14日，金陵饭店发布2022年半年度业绩预告，预计2022年半年度实现归属于上市公司股东的净利润为320万元左右，与上年同期相比将减少约1351万元，同比下降81%。
业绩变动主要原因是，2022年上半年，受奥密克戎变异毒株引发的新一轮疫情在北京、上海、江苏等区域持续蔓延，各地经济活动、商旅出行均受到大幅影响，酒店客房出租率、会议及用餐人数急剧下滑，2021年1至12月份，金陵饭店的营业收入构成为：商品贸易收入占比53.85%，酒店业务占比29.46%，房屋租赁占比10.5%，物业管理占比5.11%，房地产销售占比0.45%。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
