据悉，世茂集团近日签约上海新长宁集团，共同打造旗下高端概念型酒店品牌“MiniMax Premier睿选尚品”酒店。据了解，这是世茂集团首家自主品牌酒店。在业内人士看来，此举拉开了世茂酒店及度假村在全国布局自主品牌的序幕。
世茂酒店及度假村旗下目前有6家酒店，拥有总客房数为2679间，全部由外资酒店管理品牌管理，其中4家为高端酒店，2家为中端酒店。世茂首家自主品牌酒店——睿选尚品酒店将成为该品牌旗舰店，共有客房352间，并将于明年6月正式开业迎宾。公开资料显示，世茂在引入外资酒店管理品牌之外，也在积极培育自主品牌。目前其业务布局已经涵盖多元化品牌，包括御榕庄、茂御酒店、世御酒店、茂御居服务公寓以及MiniMax睿选酒店和MiniMax Premier睿选尚品。
数年前世茂房地产曾有分拆酒店业务上市的计划。虽然近年来该公司在酒店分拆上并未见有太多推进，但在业内看来，酒店业务分拆上市是世茂的长远规划，随着世茂首家自主品牌酒店的面世，世茂在全国布局自主品牌的举动也正式拉开序幕，更大规模的布局和数量，将有助于世茂酒店业务的独立上市。据悉，2014年世茂旗下有两家酒店即将开业，分别为泰州世茂茂御酒店以及上海松江世茂睿选酒店。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
