据悉，北京日出东方凯宾斯基酒店将于2014年第四季度开业。
据记者从最佳东方网站了解到，这个酒店还存在大量的职位空缺，招聘岗位主要涉及包括厨房主管、团队及宴会销售经理等在内的近60个岗位。
整个项目位于北京雁栖湖核心景区，占地约14平方公里，共有595间客房和套房。北京日出东方凯宾斯基酒店作为主体建筑，坐落于雁栖湖畔，共有306间客房，北京雁栖湖精品酒店和12栋北京雁栖湖精品别墅位于湖心岛上，分别有有111间客房和178间客房。
北京日出东方凯宾斯基酒店整个复合体建筑占地47678平方米，高97米，一共有21层。由于特殊的形体设计，使得建筑的最上面部分能够反射天空的颜色，中部可以映射燕山山脉，建筑体底部则折射湖水。整个玻璃外墙使用了10000多块玻璃，面积达18075平方米。
整个酒店项目的会议场地面积达14,069平方米，包括8277平方米的会议中心和风景优美的广阔户外会议空间，将为会议策划者们提供各种令人激动的全新综合型会议场地。
酒店还拥有独立的游艇码头、18洞高尔夫球场、水疗中心、娱乐健身设施和儿童俱乐部。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
