国际社会将取消对伊朗的制裁，这为伊朗旅游业的发展也带来契机。据英国《每日邮报》1月5日报道，伊朗计划新建125所豪华酒店迎接更多外国游客到访。实际上，在过去一年中伊朗新建酒店数目，已经超过过去一百年所建造酒店数目的总和。
据报道，伊朗政府希望在2025年实现游客数量达到2000万。这将为伊朗带来200亿英镑(约合人民币1919.5亿元)的收益。国际社会取消对伊朗的制裁，有望为伊朗旅游业的发展打开良好的局面。
据报道，伊朗文化遗产、手工艺品与旅游组织负责人苏坦尼珐证实，伊朗内许多酒店将建造完工。伊朗去年建造的酒店数量超过了伊朗上世纪修建酒店总数量。已修建完成的伊朗最大的五星级酒店(Espinas Palace hotel)占地1.5万平方米。里面配有运动设施，建有餐厅、咖啡馆、会议室和一个有2500个座位的音乐厅。
报道表示，伊朗总统鲁哈尼的温和政策和放松对签证限制的做法，为国外旅客进入伊朗打开了大门。
报道指出，伊朗拥有丰富璀璨的历史和文化。伊朗优美的沙滩，伊斯兰风格的建筑和美味的食物将使伊朗在未来成为最佳旅游参观地之一。而且由于伊朗和国际关系的缓和，伊朗将在未来迎来1300个投资项目。这将吸引国外投资，刺激伊朗旅游业的发展。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
