在国企整合进一步加快的背景下，旅游行业资源整合一直为市场所关注。中国旅游研究院院长戴斌表示，未来中国旅游市场将形成“1+3”的格局，即“一家旅游央企+三家地方旅游集团”。目前三大地方旅游集团已基本形成，并将持续进行资源整合，分别为北京首旅集团、上海锦江集团、广东岭南集团，三家公司的资产规模都在百亿元以上。
公告显示，控股股东广州岭南国际企业集团有限公司下属优质旅游产业资产拟注入上市公司岭南控股。岭南集团官方网站资料显示，岭南集团以旅游和食品为主业，囊括酒店、旅游、会展、食品四个产业发展平台。其中，旅游资产包括酒店和旅行社两大业务板块。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
