据路透社报道，在雅高集团的年度股东会议上，Sebastien Bazin 表示如果锦江集团能够派人入驻董事会，将会对雅高集团未来的发展产生很大的帮助。不过雅高集团并没有对该事宜做进一步讨论。
Sebastien Bazin 表示：“锦江集团增持雅高集团的股份，对我们在中国和其他市场的发展都是有利的。我们两家集团对于未来的愿景是一致的。”
今年2月份，锦江集团增持雅高集团的股权到 5.5%，成为了该集团的第二大股东(详见《华丽志》报道：“上海锦江集团增持法国雅高酒店集团股权到5.5%，跃居第二大股东”)在接下来的2个月里，锦江集团多次增持雅高集团股权，已经成为了该集团的最大股东。截止到 3月 31日，锦江集团持有雅高集团 14.98%的股份，拥有 13.07%的投票权。此外，锦江集团还在 2014年收购了法国卢浮宫酒店集团(详见《华丽志》报道：“锦江国际收购卢浮宫酒店集团”)
锦江集团的一位代表表示：“雅高集团未来的发展策略和我们十分一致，都将专注于发展数字平台，拓展国际市场和传递高质量的服务。”
分析师认为，为了防止股权被更多类似交易稀释，锦江集团可能会进一步增持雅高集团的股权。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
