目前办理澳大利亚签证只需3个工作日，一旦获签，申请人即可3年内多次往返澳大利亚。从6月20日起，持有效电子护照即可自助通关。
据澳大利亚移民及边境部官网消息，从6月20日起，持有效电子护照的中国公民可永久使用澳大利亚“智能门”自助通关系统。中国游客加入“自助通关”一员后，意味着历经长途飞行抵澳，在入境时不必排队办理人工验证，享受2分钟自助通关的便利。
新的入境方式需要游客使用新型电子护照(ePassports)，以及面部识别等相关信息，电子护照与传统护照相比含有微型芯片，持照人的姓名、出生日期、护照号码、指纹等个人信息均储存在芯片内。自2012年后办理的护照，均为电子护照。目前，办理澳大利亚签证只需3个工作日，一旦获签，申请人即可3年内多次往返澳大利亚。从6月20日起，持有效电子护照即可自助通关，更是促使中国游客去澳大利亚观光休闲、购物和留学的一支“兴奋剂”。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
