欧洲酒店、餐厅和咖啡店贸易协会HOTREC最近公布了其对于酒店分布的第二次调研结果。该调查覆盖范围超过2000家酒店。
调查结果显示，酒店对于在线旅行社的依赖日益增加。2015年将近四分之一的间夜量是由在线旅行社贡献的。而在在线旅行社市场中，三家处于主导地位的公司占据了市场92%的份额。其中最主要的是Priceline集团，其旗下有Booking.com网站。该公司占据了超过60%的市场份额。在过去的几个月里，在线旅行社之间的竞争并没有加剧。这在一定程度上与所谓的“窄平价条款”有关。在线旅行商的主要公司都称，在线旅行社的佣金并没有下降。
在在线酒店预订增加的同时，酒店的直接预订已经下降到了市场份额的55%。预订数量的变化趋势表明，在线预订平台占酒店分销市场的比重正在逐渐增加。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
