星级酒店有严格的复核标准，在经营中相对不那么灵活，当前高端酒店净利润率和投资回报率并不非常理想，维持高星级资质反而成为一种负担。
国家旅游局近日发布的《全国旅游星级饭店评定委员会关于取消五星级旅游饭店资格的公告》显示，4 家酒店被取消五星级旅游饭店资格。
事实上这并非今年首批被取消星级旅游饭店资格的酒店。据不完全统计，今年以来，大约有将近50家酒店被全国旅游星级饭店评定委员会或者地方旅游星级饭店评定委员会通报取消星级资格。
而追究星级酒店被摘星的原因，除了酒店自身的硬件设备软件服务上没有达到复核资格之外，业内人士指出，酒店自愿不再参加复核也成为不少酒店“被摘星”的原因。星级酒店有严格的复核标准，在经营中相对不那么灵活，而当前高端酒店净利润率和投资回报率都并不非常理想，根据华美顾问机构首席知识官赵焕焱整理的数据，2014年度，全国11180家星级酒店净利润率为-2.75%，其中745家五星级酒店净利润率为0.74%，2373家四星级酒店净利润率为-5.73%。尤其是在一些三四线城市，形势更为严峻。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
