硬石国际(Hard Rock International)已经成功从BREF HR, LLC关联公司（拥有拉斯维加斯的硬石酒店产业）手中收购美国西部以及一些关键国际市场的酒店所有权。此次交易中收购的所有权最初于30多年前从硬石国际品牌组合中分离出去，现在再次联合了硬石国际的全球酒店版图，硬石相信这将为该公司带来前所未有的增长机会。
由于此次交易，硬石国际现在可以独家在包括明尼苏达州和密西西比河以西各州在内的美国西部，以及澳大利亚、巴西、以色列、委内瑞拉和加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚省温哥华开发、拥有、授权、特许经营和管理硬石酒店(Hard Rock Hotels)。BREF HR, LLC关联公司将继续拥有和经营拉斯维加斯的硬石产业。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
