“入住时，前台服务员并没告知过12时多收半天房费。中午时，也没电话通知我，等我退房说要加半天房费。”方先生住了酒店几天，中午14时08分退房时，被告知超过规定时间，要求多收取半天房费200多元。方先生与酒店协商不下拨打12315投诉。消保委人员迅速来现场并调解，双方达成一致，方先生拿回多付房钱。
“其实，中午12时不退房加收房费是2002年《中国旅游饭店行业规范》第十条规定。不过，早在2009年《中国旅游饭店行业规范》中就被删除，改为"饭店应在前厅显著位置明示客房价格和住宿时间结算方法，或确认将上述信息用适当方式告知客人。"但现实中，还是有不少消费者和经营者并不了解。”消保委工作人员表示，如酒店旅馆依然执行中午12时退房，逾时加费制度并不是不可以，但必须明确告知，让消费者有知情权和选择权。而消费者涉及费用相关细节问题，可在入住时向酒店方了解清楚，避免产生不必要的纠纷。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
