5月19日，“2017中国旅游日”主题宣传暨中国旅游投融资促进大会在北京国际饭店举行。国家旅游局局长李金早在活动上发表讲话，表示我国正进入“大众旅游”时代，要坚持以全域旅游理念，精耕作为“五大幸福产业”之首的旅游业，不断增长人民群众的旅游休闲福祉。
李金早在2017年中国旅游日主会场致辞时表示，旅游已从少数人的奢侈品发展成为人民群众大众化的日常消费，成为人民群众日常生活的内容。党中央、国务院高度重视全域旅游发展，旅游业成为国民经济战略性支柱产业。旅游业作为幸福导向、健康导向、文明导向的产业，要不断适应市场发展新需求，充分发挥旅游产业的综合性、带动性、支柱性和全民性功能，形成旅游产业发展新格局。

The hotel is situated in a really old shanty pocket of Shanghai, but conveniently close to Sichuan North Road commercial area (shopping) and the former art district (culture including Luxun Museum etc.) and lines 4 (SH railway station convenient) and 10(?); through the latter one may reach line 2 with ease. The hotel is suitably clean for a local establishment though many of the appliances and cupboards are functionally sub-par. I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service never came even when I asked for it which was amazing as I think I was the only guest at the hotel that time. The front desk staff are constantly asleep or look annoyed when you ask them for things (ie. cleaning service or whatever). The TV had horrible static though the internet was pretty fast. Overall, this is a hotel with a lot of potential (old building with a lot of original structures), but suffers from bad housekeeping and unprofessional general management and staff training.
